How to connect photos and set clips to audio only

Connecting photos and setting a clip as audio-only may be done online or within the mobile app.

Connecting photos
To connect a photo online
, open an album and select the clip that you would like to add a photo to. Under the picture heading select Browse Files. From here, navigate to your photo, select it and click open. The photo will be stored in attached to your clip.

To connect a photo from the mobile app open the album and go to the review tab. Select the clip you wish to add a photo to. From the app you have two options.
1. You may take a new picture from your phone to attach to the clip or
2. Choose the upload photo option to select a photo stored on your phone.

Note that an attached photo becomes the thumbnail of the associated clip in the clips menu. When you playback the video, you will see both the photo and the recorded video.

Modifying clip labels and adding descriptions
You may change the label of any clip and add text or links (i.e. online articles or photos etc.) to provide further context to any clip. To perform either of these actions, you need pull up the edit info window.
To update a label or description:
1. On the web app: Go to clips menu, click the 3 dot menu option for that clip and click ‘edit info’, or
2. On the mobile or web app: Select the clip and click the text ‘Edit name and description’ beneath the video.

Making Clips Audio-Only
If you are camera shy or simply want only a picture to display during the recording, you may wish to set your clip to audio-only.
You can set a clip to audio only with or without a photo attached.  An audio-only clip with a picture attached will display the photo throughout the playback.
To set a clip to audio-only
1. On the web app: Go to clips menu, click the 3 dot menu option for that clip and click ‘make-audio’, or
2. On the mobile or web app: Select the clip and click the toggle switch ‘Make clip audio only’ to on.

Reorganizing Clips
Clips are uploaded in the order they are recorded. However, you can reorder them as desired within your album.
To reorder clips
1. On the web app: Go to the clips menu and hover over the clip you want to move. Drag and drop the double line icon.
2. On to the mobile app: Go to the review tab. Hold down the double line, and drag and drop the clip to the location you desire.
