Download an album or clip
Downloading a Clip:
To download a single clip, open the album. From the clips menu, click the 3 dot menu option for that clip and click download clip. The clip video will be downloaded.
In single clip downloads, only the video is downloaded without the added customization. Photos and descriptions may be copied and stored separately. Clips marked private would need to be changed to public to access the download option.
Downloading an Album:
If an owner or contributor would like to store the contents of an album on their own device, they need to open the album and click on the 3-dot menu in the upper right hand corner of the screen. Then click ‘request download.’ The software will ask you if you wish to download the entire album or only those that are not designated as private.
A zip file of the albums contents will be sent their email along with an HTLM file.
After expanding the files, the user may click on the HTLM file to view and navigate the clips in the Generational Story format (including customization of descriptions and photos) offline. The files may be stored on any personal device in this form for easy access and navigation.
