How to record in person over your mobile device
Download the App: To record yourself or conduct an in-person interview from your mobile device, download the Generational App from the App or Play Store to your phone.
Set-up: Login and open the album previously created online that will hold your recorded clips. From here, you may choose a pre-planned interview prompt or capture spontaneous stories through a custom recording.
Record: When you are ready, click the record button. Give the person time to respond and then, click stop. Choosing the delete option will return you to the same question on the record screen to re-record your answer. If you are satisfied with your clip, select save. You will then be redirected to your recording screen for your next question in the queue.
Saved clips are automatically uploaded, organized, and labeled in your personal album in the cloud.
