How to set up email reminders
For your convenience, you may schedule periodic email reminders to add to your recordings in your Generational Story album.
To set up weekly, bi-monthly or monthly reminders, open your album and navigate to the “About’ tab.” Under Record reminders, turn the email reminders toggle on. You will then be prompted to choose who to send the email reminders to from the list of the albums’ owner and contributors. You will also choose the frequency that the reminders will be sent. When complete, click “save changes.”
Reminders are sent as long as the are still question to be answered in your queue. Email reminders are sent out Mondays until you answer your scheduled prompts or turn the reminder toggle off.
Adding to your album: When the reminder appears in your inbox, simply click the link in the email from either your mobile device or laptop to add to your recordings.You will be taken to the screen where you can select to either record a clip or upload a video to your album.
Note that the first question in your queue is pre-selected, but you may choose any question or a custom record if you prefer a different topic.
